  • Validity Expired: The device's server registration period has ended.
  • Pending Whitelisting: The serial number requires an active network submission.
  • Unregistered Status: The biometric hardware is not active in the database.

The 7-digit or 8-digit serial number is printed on the sticker attached to the bottom/back of your Mantra device. It is usually labeled as "SR NO:" as highlighted in the image.

If the sticker is faded or missing completely: Simply plug the device into your Android phone or PC and open the official manufacturer's RD Service application to view your serial number securely on the screen.

No, lifetime validity is no longer provided due to strict UIDAI compliance and periodic certificate updates. Currently, you can securely process your device validity for periods of 1 Year or 2 Years. Once the selected validity period expires, you will need to process a new plan to continue uninterrupted services. 

First, unplug the USB cable and plug it back into your device. Second, ensure your PC or mobile phone has a strong, active internet connection so it can safely sync your newly processed validity.
If the device still shows expired, simply restart your PC or mobile phone to refresh the connection. If you still face issues, contact our dedicated support team via WhatsApp or submit a ticket below. 

URGENT UIDAI MANDATE WARNING

As per strict guidelines, L0 biometric devices may not function reliably after 31 May 2025. We strongly advise all operators to proactively upgrade their hardware from L0 to Mantra L1 devices to ensure uninterrupted operations for all Aadhaar-based services.
