Understanding L1 Certificate Expiration (Error 700)

If your MFS110 L1 scanner displays Error 700: Certificate Expired (or PID Block Failure), the hardware chip inside the scanner is being actively rejected by the UIDAI server. This happens because the local security certificate is outdated due to a lapsed Mantra L1 device recharge.

Restoring MFS110 L1 Keys

To force the OEM server to push new keys to your device, you must renew the RD service.

  • Submit your 8-digit serial number for an online Mantra mfs110 rd service recharge.
  • Wait 5 minutes for the Fast Activation API to clear the payment.
  • Unplug the MFS110 and plug it back in to trigger the certificate download.

If you face any issues, our Mantra rd service online support desk is available to assist.
