What is Mantra Error 700?
While Error 1001 means your device is not registered, Error 700: Certificate Expired (or PID Block Creation Failed) means your hardware's internal security keys have lapsed. The UIDAI server rejects the encrypted fingerprint data because the local certificate is outdated. To resolve this, you must process a Mantra rd service activation.
How to Download New Certificates
Fixing this requires renewing your RD service to force the OEM server to push new keys to your device.
- Submit your serial number for a 1-year or 2-year Mantra rd service charge plan.
- Wait 5 minutes for the Fast Activation API to clear the payment on the backend.
- Restart the 'Mantra AVDM' service on Windows or clear Android app cache to pull the new certificate.
